I am my mother....

Lets talk finances..... went in to the bank today for ask for an extension on my loan payback and.... well the woman as good as laughed at me then slapped me with a wet fish. "Sorry Ms Williams, we will be unable to extend your payment date. However we can offer you a.... (thunder/lightening sound effects) CREDIT CARD" AAAAAAAARGHHHHH as you hear me go running out the bank, twitching and then I realised... Not only am I turning 20 this year so I really should start acting like an adult but I AM TURNING INTO MY MOTHER!

Now I've spent my life hearing my uncles tell my aunties "your acting more and more like your mother everyday" there is no love in my family unless you hurt one of us in which case you will be hunted down and.... well I can't share trade family maffia secrets! At the weekend my parents went away to Ireland and I had to be mummy for my brothers and sister. Towards the end of the weekend I was screaming at the kids for leaving a glass on the floor..... I was getting twitchy seeing a wet towel on the bathroom floor.... AND I came close to massacring them when they... put the loo roll round the wrong way on the holder and it didn't flap over it flapped under and OH MY GOD! I was turning into my mother! And my brother found great pleasure in pointing so out to me.

Was out in the front garden on Sunday doing some gardening with my little bro and these old grannies kept walking past telling me it was lovely that "my son" was helping "his mummy" out in the garden! I DO NOT LOOK OLD ENOUGH TO HAVE A 12 YEAR OLD SON OK GRANNY?!

Oh and it got worse.... I looked at the programmes I had set on Sky+ and well... im a geek *sobs quietly into corner* I had set Place in the Sun, Ready Steady Cook, The Office, 60 Minute Makeover, Will & Grace and.... Grand Designs! I AM MY MOTHER!

Then when my parents got back they gave me the Ireland rugby shirt I'd asked for and i went to try it on.... on my return to show mum and dad how cool I looked I walked into the living room to see my dad wearing THE SAME SHIRT! Now we already have matching England rugby hoodies and shirts.... now we have Ireland. We stood next to each other and oh GOD I LOOK LIKE MY FATHER!

So in conclusion...... I look like my dad but with blonder hair, bigger boobs and not so much round the middle! But I act like my mother with less geordie accent, less psycoticness and an ability to keep my mouth shut OCCASIONALLY. Gonna go eat some borbon biccies now and watch 60 minute makeover.... OH SHUT UP!
